Plant Based Meatless Meatballs a La Marsala

Other Ingredients

  • 1 lb Egg noodles cooked
  • 1 cup Marsala wine
  • 2 cups Vegetable broth
  • 2 cups White mushrooms sliced
  • 10 oz Pearl onions
  • 1 cup Red pepper cut into strips
  • 3 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp All purpose flour
  • Salt, pepper, parsley to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add mushrooms and cook until brown.
  • Add pearl onions and red peppers. Cook until onions become speckled brown and translucent.
  • Add flour, stir, and continue cooking for 2 minutes.
  • Add frozen Cooked Perfect Plant Based Meatless Meatballs, marsala wine, and broth. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce to a simmer until sauce is thickened. Simmer 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Season with salt and pepper. Serve over egg noodles, garnish with fresh chopped parsley.

Notes

This recipe can be made with any variety of Cooked Perfect meatballs.
