
Plant Based Meatless Meatballs a La Marsala
Ingredients
Our Cooked Perfect® Products
- 1 bag Cooked Perfect ¾ oz. Plant Based Meatless Meatballs 12 oz bag
Other Ingredients
- 1 lb Egg noodles cooked
- 1 cup Marsala wine
- 2 cups Vegetable broth
- 2 cups White mushrooms sliced
- 10 oz Pearl onions
- 1 cup Red pepper cut into strips
- 3 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 3 tbsp All purpose flour
- Salt, pepper, parsley to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add mushrooms and cook until brown.
- Add pearl onions and red peppers. Cook until onions become speckled brown and translucent.
- Add flour, stir, and continue cooking for 2 minutes.
- Add frozen Cooked Perfect™ Plant Based Meatless Meatballs, marsala wine, and broth. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce to a simmer until sauce is thickened. Simmer 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Season with salt and pepper. Serve over egg noodles, garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
Notes
This recipe can be made with any variety of Cooked Perfect™ meatballs.
